This sauce is delicious! My family loved it! It was simple and did not require heavy cream or half & half which saved a few calories!

The browned butter part lends itself to making the old Spaghetti Factory recipe of Pasta with Brown butter and Myzythra ( a Greek cheese) as well. The Alfredo is much different than my regular recipe but pretty amazing. Especially for one of those easy entertaining meals.

In reply to Kathy. I'm sorry you had a bad experience, but it does sound like you made the recipe correctly! Authentic Fettuccine Alfredo is definitely not bold in flavor and is very buttery. While that's the desired outcome, it won't be everyone's favorite.

I made the Fettuccine!!!! It was so delicious, better than restaurant style. I add some chicken breast that I had pan fried into it!!!! oh my, this is a keeper. Thanks for these delicious recipes. Trying the chicken lime pizza tonight.

I made this last night and was terribly disappointed. Too much butter and flavourless.
