I’ve been making something very similar to this for years. Some additional delicious ingredients are olives(kalamata or black), roasted red bell peppers, sun dried tomato, and artichoke hearts! Always a hit! A cheaper solution to the mini mozzarella balls is sliced fresh mozzarella, then just chop into smll cubes. String cheese works too, again, chopped into small discs.

Thanks for that hint! I saw Inna say this for a chicken salad, but didnt connect doing it for pasta too. It does help deepen the flavor <3

We love this salad, hint from me; after I cook the pasta and drain if and while it is still warm I add the dressing as the warm pasta soaks up some of the flavors. I add the rest after all the other ingredients.

Great recipe! I made this and added some cutup caprese sausages that I sauteed in a little Ghee til golden brown. Got us through a few hot summer nights and the guys loved it. Did add some salt & pepper to taste to the dressing but that’s just my personal preference as I’m sure is just as good without. Whether you stick to the classic recipe or add different veggies and/or proteins this is a keeper. The dressing is perfect, complementing the flavors of the other ingredients without being overbearing. Thanks!
