Wayyyyy too sweet, Im gonna try to make it again without the sweet relish and sugar added. Felt like I was eating candy macaroni. Some people might like it that way though.

I left out the sugar and pickle relish and added a shredded carrot. Nice for those that are watching sugar intake and prefer a less sweet taste. Just a personal preference.

I follow the recipe except I make 4 times the dressing because it dries up overnight. Right before serving I add the 2nd half of the dressing and everyone loves it.

Love all your receipes.
Really like the macaroni salad but I leave out any sweet like sugar and sweet relish

We made this salad for the new year meal, and it was delicious. I followed the directions exactly and it so good. I toss some olive oil on the macaroni first and added the rest of the ingredients Delicious!

I made this recipe to take to a football party and received rave reviews. However, I tweaked it just a bit, using a tri-color rotini made from wheat, tomatoes, & spinach, instead of white macaroni…lite mayo, sharp cheddar, & about 1/3 the salt, to give it a little healthier touch. It came out amazingly! And my husband, who resists eating healthier, is requesting more, already. Thank you for publishing this recipe.

This is a wonderful recipe. I get many requests to make it.
It’s so easy to leave things out people don’t like or can’t eat. I split it up after the dressing
and make a bowl everyone will like.
How can anyone not like peas…???? I love peas

Very very tasty!!! I made it for the 4th of July!! It is almost a cross between a macaroni salad and a pasta salad! So delicious!
