Made this recipe especially for my grandson. He loves waffles. He ate every bit of his waffle. So 5 stars
I used the substitute milk plus lemon juice.
It was an easy recipe. I will definitely make these again🙂

This recipe is perfection!!!!! I needed a quick and easy recipe and this delivered tenfold! I added a bit more sugar and vanilla to the recipe but otherwise followed it. Thanks for a perfect recipe!

Absolutely delicious. We did not have milk so used 1 1/4 C water and 1/2 C whipping cream and 1.5 TB lemon juice for the milk.

Why are these so good? I made these for my kiddo’s birthday breakfast, and she loved them. I added some chocolate chips to the wet ingredients and used regular milk instead of buttermilk. They have a nice texture and flavor. Thanks so much!

These turned out light and fluffy inside and crispy outside. I used whole milk and it was fine. I cut this down by half and got 6 waffles from this using a standard round waffle iron. I’ve made these twice and they’ve turned out great both times. This is a keeper!

Made these with pumpkin pie spice and frozen thawed and drained rhubarb they were wonderful will make in future

I usually use Queen Elizabeth’s recipe but I found yours and I was in a hurry.
Really liked it and it turned out perfect.
I did the 6x, as I was having daughter and great grand children for a few days.
Plus my baby girl who lives not too far asked if she could have some with pecans in them, so I obliged.
