This will be a new go-to recipe! I made this using leftover Thanksgiving turkey. I decreased the liquid a little because we like a thicker soup. The flavors are so good!

Just made this incredibly good soup and finished a bowl with my husband. I omitted the cream, but used Ben’s Ready Rice in the orange pouch. I just put it in, uncooked where it says to put in the rice and brown it. I added 1 tsp. extra garlic and ginger each . Then for each individual bowl, added about 1/2 teaspoon of fresh squeezed lemon juice. It is amazing! The starch in the rice thickened the soup nicely.

Made this tonight for my husband and I ! It was absolutely delicious ! We like a little spice ,so I added some “ Kickin’ Chicken” which is a spice. It’s a keeper❣️

so wonderful. Tasty, delicious….I make the base and keep the rice separate. Either way it is just the best!!! It’s in the cookbook….which I love!!!

I have made this & your chicken & noodle soup hundreds of times now. It is very good when trying to lose weight. I think it’s the best chicken soup ever!! I like the rice cooked in the soup. I like the mushiness of it. I do add 4 more cups of water & I omit the cream & lemon. It’s delish & easy to make.

In reply to Chris Ruby. For this type of recipe I always cook the rice separate and store the leftovers that way also. I just put the rice in a bowl and then add the soup. That way the rice doesn't get mushy and it won't soak up all the broth when you store the leftovers. I think I will make this tonight!
