I’ve probably had 1000 ham & cheese sandwiches in my life, but none of them were anything like this most delicious combination. I don’t even have words to describe it, except to say Try This Recipe! I don’t love swiss so I used pepperjack on half but got equally good reports on the swiss half. Also I planned on using Hawaiian rolls but then I saw these super soft little brioche rolls in the bakery & couldn’t resist, but I’m sure they are equally delicious on any roll.

In reply to Jw. Just curious about the butter sauce. Is there really a full tablespoon of onion powder? I've seen similar recipes, but they have 1 teaspoon onion powder and a tablespoon of Worcester sauce. This recipe is reversed. Just wanted to clarify before making. Thanks!

Made these for a quick lunch after Sunday morning service they came out great I did changed the recipe up a little bit since I didn’t have poppy seeds definitely going to make this recipe again.
