Made this today and have to say i was shocked at how delicious it was. didn’t use brown sugar and doubled up on the pepper. the only thing i will probably do next time is use less of the bacon grease. But, again. Wow!

Ohh that sounds yummy! I caramelized my onions and carrots with the bacon before I added the cabbage and it added lots of depth of flavor!

This was my first time making cabbage, and it came out amazing!!!! I modified the seasonings adding adobo, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika, and a little salt and pepper!

Although I had to drain the grease out of it about three times before it finished cooking. Loved it!
