While I have a fabulous sauce recipe handed down tome, this recipe is wonderful! I’ll never make lasagna again without nutmeg. It’s subtle, but it makes all the difference!

Delicious!!! My absolute favorite lasagna recipe. Also, agree with letting the sauce simmer for the full four hours. This recipe does not disappoint!

This lasagna recipe was wonderful! I made homemade lasagna noodles and it was perfect. As I made the lasagna noodles, I started building the layers……no need for hot water or boiling…they cooked up perfect and didn’t need to be salted because of the other seasonings. My husband can’t eat the store bought lasagna noodles, because of the preservatives and fillers…it would affect his diabetes glucose number. He requested Lasanga for his birthday…took me all day. I cooked the sauce in my crockpot on the slow setting for 4 hours. I made homemade bread sticks.. an Olive Garden copycat recipe. He can eat bread when I make it as well. He loved his birthday dinner and the best part was I knew what was in it!

This is our family favorite! not only do I make this fabulous lasagna but I use the sauce for Spaghetti night and also bring camping which everyone always loves! This is my go to so glad I found this.
