In reply to Courtney. You are right, a hand mixer does tend to do a better job at mixing in the eggs. I'll update the recipe to reflect that. You can definitely still whisk by hand, but it does take a lot more effort to achieve the level of smoothness that you get with the ease of the hand mixer.

The written instructions say to wisk the eggs and lemon juice but the video uses a hand mixer. The first time I made it I followed the video and they came out perfect, the next time I followed the written directions and the top didn’t set correctly. I repeated for a third time not sure of what I did wrong and the same thing happened. I made them a fourth time and followed the video and they came out perfectly so it matters! The video should match the written instructions!!

I made this recipe and thought the amount of lemon juice was too much! It was very liquidly when pouring into the crust.
The result was very moist Center of the squares. Delicious!

Hi, I made these they where good!!! but the custard turned brown really fast i think i over beat the filling to much and it was a little frothy. But still good. thanks

Absolutely delicious! But my crust was more like a pie crust than your light and fluffy crust.
I had a small and a medium size food processor, do you think they weren’t big enough!
Tasted delicious but would like to do your crust.
What do you think I did wrong?

Made these to take to a party. What a hit! They were delicious! I did add some lemon zest though. Made them extra tart. Yum!!
