Hi Rachel,, I am thrilled to see that you are doing so much better. You don’t look so tired and it’s obvious that you are living your life to the fullest. I have enjoyed following you for several years. I was so sad for you when you got sick. It seemed so difficult to find the diagnosis. I and every other fan had you in our thoughts and in our prayers. Thank you for your story! It is amazing and so are you. Your story is an inspiration to me and it should be to others as well. It should make most of the US ashamed of how much we whine and complain about our lives when we have sooooo much! Thank you for your inspiration to do better to always keep up fighting and never give up! I love your recipes and use so many of them. I am Gluten Free, and most of your recipes I can adapt and use, they are wonderful!

I’m here with multiple auto-immune diseases, beginning with Ulcerative Colitis since I was 23, ankylosing spondylitis, Sjogren’s disease, inflammatory arthritis and currently post herpetic neuralgia in my face and scalp. But, at 75 I still won’t give up. Love all your recipes. Wish I had my hubby here to enjoy them.

You are an inspiration to me. I remember you discussing your illness a few years ago when people commented about your beautiful gray hair and you shared you love of your gray hair and why. I love your gray hair too. Your smile is infectous and your love for all clearly shines through. I wish I could have some of your ability and faith to find joy, blessings and God’s love in the worst times. I trying to grow my faith in that area so your sharing was a blessing to me. Sadly, I was the glass is half empty gal. But, it dawned on me to be thankful for the water God provided in my glass. There is always a blessing to be found even if we have to search for them. Your FB post brought bring me happiness and while I miss you I enjoy Caitlyn also. I will remember you and your family in my prayers. Also, anyone being negative about you or you bio try to ignore. They are sad, miserable individuals who I feel sorry for while being angry that they would be that way toward anyone. May God bless you in this time of struggles. THANK YOU FOR SHARING!

Hi, I’ll keep it short. I have rheumatioid arthritis, severe allergies, severe asthma, degenerating spinal discs, severe migaines, and now kidney disease – all of which are autoimmune dieases. The main cure has always been steroids, which adds to the thinning of the spinal
disks. My doctors told my parents if I would be able to live to be 40, I would be lucky. I am 67! I lived long enough for a biologic drug that is beginning to negate the need for most of my other drugs ! I wish my parents were here to know this.
Biologics are exploding in numbers, targeting specific causes of a huge variety of diseases.
I admire you very much, and the encouragment you give others. All I can say is, you never know what is around the next corner, medically !. And I love my gray hair too !

I have watched your videos for years and I am just finding out about your addison’s disease diagnosis. I too was diagnosed with addison’s disease at 11 years old and I’m now 41. I was sick for months, unable to walk more than 10 steps without everything going black and on my death bed in an ICU my doctor figured it out. Several hours after being given IV corticosteroids I was up dancing and begging to eat.

I know you have had some major hurdles in your health, but the positivity you approach life is absolutely inspirational. Thank you!!!
